Vancouver – C-Tran is proposing a change to fares for paratransit users.The agency wants to discontinue monthly and day passes for C-Van, starting when the Hop Fastpass electronic fare system connects to C-Van at the end of this year or early in 2018.The proposed changes would require riders to pay single-ride fares each time they use C-Van. Monthly and day passes would be discontinued. The $1.80 cost of a single ride wouldn’t change.Fixed routes and Vanpool fares won’t be affected in 2017.Meetings on the proposal will be:• 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22: Marshall Center Craft Room, 1009 E.
