PTISri Lanka’s Suraj Randiv has been served a one-match suspension for deliberately bowling a no-ball to deny Virender Sehwag a century in Monday’s ODI against India at Dambulla.A press statement issued by the Lankan cricket board on Wednesday said Randiv had been suspended from Thursday’s ODI against New Zealand. It was Dilshan who egged Randiv to deliver the no-ball to deny Sehwag his 13th century in Monday’s game. Sehwag was a run away from his century and so was India from victory. While the no-ball got India to the winning run, it denied Sehwag his century. But Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara was let off the hook with a mere warning. He was told by the board that such shameful acts should not be repeated in future.
