CERES NEGROS FOOTBALL CLUBMANILA – Bacolod City native Joshua Dutosme will be one of the 23 Philippine Azkals players who will face Nepal in the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019 Qualifiers game on Nov. 14 in Kathmandu, Nepal.Dutosme was one of two new insertions in the national men’s football team – the other being Paolo Salenga – under head coach Thomas Dooley.Also in the lineup were Phil and James Younghusband, Carlos de Murga, Patrick Deyto, Neil Etheridge, Kevin Ingreso, Sean Kane, Hikaru Minegishi, Paul Mulders, Jim Muñoz, Mike Ott, Dylan De Bruycker, Curt Dizon, Nicholas O’Donnell, Iain Ramsay, Simone Rota, Daisuke Sato, and Dennis Villanueva.Returning for Azkals duty against Nepal were Marwin Angeles, Fitch Arboleda and Misagh Bahadoran, who was out in a previous match due to injury.Dutosme was part of many-time champion University of St. La Salle – Bacolod football squad. He was recently signed as a backup midfielder by Ceres Negros in the Philippines Football League.This will be Azkals’ fifth match in the qualifying event after scoring a 4-1 victory over Nepal on March 28, a 4-3 escape over Tajikistan on June 13, a 2-2 draw with Yemen on Sept. 5, and a 2-2 draw with Yemen on Oct. 10.Azkals was currently on top of the group with 8 points on two wins and two draws.
